It is often better to tell individuals that you have fibromyalgia when it is performed on a necessary basis. Of course, the medical professionals who treat you should also be included in the group that requires information, especially if your health has any effect on your treatment. For instance, your family doctor, rheumatologists and even therapists should be aware of your fibromyalgia, because your health circumstances may be important to your treatment. However, you may not need to inform your dentist because fibromyalgia does not often affect the teeth.
How to Tell Your Working Place
If you continue to work, it can be hard to decide if or not to tell your boss about fibromyalgia. During a fiber flush, it is difficult to operate and does not influence your efficiency, so it can assist your boss to understand that your job is affected by medical factors. If you are planning to leave your work and collect disability payments, it may also be essential to tell your boss and your physicians. You probably need extra paperwork from your employer in order to gather disability that you are unable to satisfy your job’s usual requirements.
